Dr. Gong Ryong, an obstetrician, becomes South Korea’s first space tourist, officially joining a gene research project on the space station but secretly aiming to attempt in vitro fertilization in zero gravity. Commander Eve Kim, initially resistant to his plans, gradually forms a deep connection with him as they confront space’s harsh realities together. Their controversial procedure is found to violate space law—leading to Gong Ryong losing his medical license and facing prison while Eve is forced to resign. As they are separated, Eve discovers she is pregnant and, determined, gives birth in zero gravity. She dies soon after, and Gong Ryong remains in space to raise their daughter, Byeol-i. Their sacrifice inspires the founding of the world’s first Space Infertility Treatment Center, offering new hope for humanity.
